Precision came and repaired our door (they had come once before in 2021) to repair the door that a defective garage door opener broke. The tech was on time, explained everything in detail and made suggestions for how to fix the problem. Very impressed. We needed an emergency repair on our garage door opener; the spring had broken and our cars were trapped in side. We called Precision and they had a technician to our house in about 1 hour. The technician, Wilson, replaced the broken sprung an a few other parts and we were back operational in about another 2 hours. We are more than pleased with the service and would call Precision without hesitation should the need arise.

Not satisfied with the service. The garage door opener was working manually. The problem was that it was not responding properly to the remote devices . While troubleshooting the door opener became jam against the door. The motor would no longer respond to manual inputs. The brake release on the chain also became jammed. Now, I needed a new door. The technicians did a good job installing the new door.

Door rail disconnected unexpectedly from ceiling on a Friday night. Went online on Saturday and made appointment for Precision repair on Monday. After reviewing online ads (quick response and local) Alison felt comfortable selecting Precision. Andrew is an asset to the company. He met all the above. He explained everything in a way that anyone could understand and gave a reason for everything that needed to be replaced. I didn’t feel he was trying to sell products that wasn’t needed. Precision installed my new garage door five years ago. They were the obvious choice to call when I started to have issues this year. It was easy to make an appointment and I received a text telling me that the service technician was on his way, which is really great and helped me plan my time. The door was an easy fix, however, I was a little surprised by the Tune Up Special. All the technician did was lubricate the door, the major big spring, and parts of the track, which is part of the regular maintenance and something I asked him to do. He even told me what lubricant I should buy, which I appreciated. I asked him if that was all he was going to do, and he said yes. Then I see the bill for the tune up on the door. It says lubricate, tighten hardware, and check the balance of the door. None of that was done other than lubricating the door, and I was charged $75. The service call fee and the reprogramming of the garage door charges were what I expected and had no problem at all with them. Overall, the technician was very personable and explained things to me, and I’m glad to have my door back in service.
