Thank you for prompt respond checking the opener. This garage door opener is just over one year old and the remote plus the key pad don't work. I was hoping that this is just a simple programing, but was told that the board is bad. I don't understand why the board should go bad specially for this device. We don't use the remotes and key pad that much. It is really disappointing that now I have to pay for a board. I will find out the manufacturer contact info and will send them a complaint about this product. I will also make sure that others know about this product. As for Precision, they should either change product and do not use low quality systems or service it and inform the manufacturer.

I called to get a quote for three things. One was replace my springs, one had broken. Two, was to replace my 10’ x 7’ front door and three, to replace my 8’x7’ rear door. We needed to replace springs. We ending up buying the ten-year service agreement. All moving parts replaced. It is expensive but could be worth it. The reason we had confidence to move forward was the obvious competence of the service rep named Andre. Some years ago we replaced the drive and the motor (using Precision) and have not had a problem with them. That was another reason to go with Precision.

Crew arrived early. We wound up replacing the whole garage door opener, spring, safety laser, got a heavier motor and operation control. We also got the ten year warranty plan. The old system was 20 years old and the motor went out. Installation was quick and efficient and it came with two remote controls and an outside coded keypad. They really knew what they were doing and I will recomnend Precision Garage Door Service to everyone.

I obtained the company name from Angi which I have used in the past and had excellent results. Quick response to my request for service Brandon was very nice and gave me a run down on what all the problems could have caused the door to not operate. He found the problem and the door is now working. I will definitely use Precision again in the future.

Andrew, the service technician, was able to call and offered to come earlier than expected. He and his co-technician arrived on site and conducted themselves in a very polite, respectful, and positive manner. After showing them my issue, and them pointing out a possible cause for the issue, they were able to do a couple of quick maintenance adjustments and fixed the problem and show me the cost which was very reasonable. They also explained a possible failure point that could cause further problems in the future. During their adjustments, the failure point did fail which caused my motor to need a replacement. It was quite obvious that this was not an intentional error or mistake on their part. We discussed solutions and cost and decided on the final solution. Luckily they had a replacement and was able to make the full repair at that time. They took their time and were meticulous in their work making sure that everything was in complete working order and I knew how to operate it properly. They were very patient in dealing with the couple of issues in the installation. I was very pleased with their workmanship and will continue to use them again should the need arise.
