I called and advised the person who answered the phone that I had a cable had come off and broke and needed someone to repair it. I asked for him to give me a ballpark of what it would cost. I was advised that it would be approx. $55 plus the service fee. Instead of repairing it, they sent Max out and he gave me a quote to have a torsion cable system at a cost of $688 per door and could not repair it. If I wanted the spring and cable system it would cost me more to order those parts than it would to get their torsion cable system and then charged me a service fee of $49.95. That is not good business. He knew before he came that I had a spring and cable and the cable had come off because I told them that. Tried real hard to sell the torsion cable system. I was not biting.

We tried for 4 months to get the original installer of our automatic gate opener repaired (under warranty!) until we finally gave up. The original installer gutted the control box so we were not hopeful that we'd get a functional gate opener anytime soon. We called Precision in the morning and by 2pm the same day, a team showed up and had ALL the parts needed to fix the gate. This was a 6 STAR job, we are very pleased and will only call Precision from now on. Thanks!

Supprise, a person answered the phone. I called on a Saturday and not only they were open I was also able to get an appointment the same day. Brad was great. He gave me options on repairs and once I made a decision he was done with 30-45 min. he handled himself very professionally. I would use Predision again.

I'v been in the service industry for over 40 years. From auto repair to plumbing to owning a security alarm company, and have always repaired most things myself. But at the age of 66, replacing my broken overhead door torsion springs, was more than I was willing to tackle. I googled overhead door repair and came upon an ad for Precision Door Service, and gave them a call. Even though they were busy, due to the fact they had been shut down a couple of days because of Hurricane Barry, they said they could squeeze me in at the end of the day. I got a call from the tech saying he was finishing up on the job he was on and that I was next on his list. A short time later I got a text saying he was on his way. When the workers arrived, one being Michael Helwig the manager of the company, he inspected the problem and gave me a quote with different options for solving the problem. I had googled what I should expect to pay for these services, having an idea of what I though would be a fair price, and was pleased with the price I was quoted. Michael was very courteous and professional at all times. He and his assistant repairs the problem in less that an hour to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs garage door repairs.

Recently, I had a 6' wide exterior (internal) roll up door installed on my workshop this month. The onsite visit and discussion of what roll up door and its placement was scheduled the day I called. I received a price the same day as verified by email. I had contacted 2 other garage door installation companies who returned my calls. One with a ball park cost higher than I liked and one was very slow getting back. Precision gave me the best price and quick service. However, there was no discussion regarding exterior door seals. My assumption was that the outer door seal would be included on any exterior door exposed to the weather elements. This was common sense to me but definitely NOT to Precision. When I asked about the outer door seal, I was told that a brush seal was the recommended. When asked how much, the recommended 3" brush seal installed was a shade under $200 which was 1/3 the cost of the initial roll up door driving the total job cost. It seems to me the additional cost, which I did not anticipate, will be necessary to consider an alternative to prevent the rain water from getting in.
