He inspected the door and gave me three estimates, he then allowed me to choose which one I preferred, once that was done he went ahead and performed the necessary repairs. I used Home Advisor to find someone to repair my garage door; the cable was wrapped around the sensor holder, which jammed the door and it would not close completely. Precision called and gave me a next day appointment. Mr. Helwig was fast, friendly and professional. He checked the garage door and said it was a fast fix and preceded to do so, he even bent the holder back, so it would not catch the cable again and I was only charged for the call out fee. It was a pleasure…Thank you Precision….

I needed device for my garage door opener. I used home advisor and was contacted by Precision in minutes after the request. They were quick to respond and schedule service. Bryant, the technician was extremely courteous, and professional. Worked quickly to diagnose the issue and provided multiple options. I chose to replace the opener and Bryant had it completed in no time. Within 18 hours (including overnight) the call was made and work completed. Precision is a great company and will call them again if the need arises.

Your technician had a bad attitude from the minute he got here. And, instead of coming to my front door when he arrived, he went into my garage and knocked on my laundry door. That scared me. Never has happened before. He tried to charge me for a “tune up” ($59.95) instead of a standard service call ($49.95) which was what I agreed to when I scheduled the appointment. Other than his TELLING me the spring needed to be sprayed with white lithium grease, he didn’t actually spray the spring...I sprayed the spring with my own lithium grease), he made a minor adjustment to my RF lights. He didn’t do anything else. So, he changed the bill to $49.95. But, I had to ask him to do it. Nothing about his visit inspired me to want to call Precision Garage Door Service in the future.

Overall I had a good experience with Precision Door Service. Service was prompt -- I was able to get my vehicle out of the garage where it had been "trapped" due to an inoperative garage door opening. I was shown various new garage doors for purchase, at different prices and models. I eventually chose a model which is set to be installed. My only "complaint" is that my garage is partially open to the elements (as part of my old door has deteriorated significantly), and even though the garage door I ordered was in stock, they were not able to install the new door for over a week. Quicker installation, given my situation, should have been possible. Regardless, I am pleased with the quality of the work and product.
