The technician called ahead of visit time and we were able to get started earlier than scheduled. I called and advised the person who answered the phone that I had a cable had come off and broke and needed someone to repair it. I asked for him to give me a ballpark of what it would cost. I was advised that it would be approx. $55 plus the service fee. Instead of repairing it, they sent Max out and he gave me a quote to have a torsion cable system at a cost of $688 per door and could not repair it. If I wanted the spring and cable system it would cost me more to order those parts than it would to get their torsion cable system and then charged me a service fee of $49.95. That is not good business. He knew before he came that I had a spring and cable and the cable had come off because I told them that. Tried real hard to sell the torsion cable system. I was not biting.

I had problem when 2 rollers on my opener jumped the track mid afternoon on a Saturday. When I called I was told they would have someone at my home between 4 and 6. Technician arrived a few minutes after 4. Technician was excellent and he completed the repair and paperwork with about 40 minutes.

Technician was punctual and very personable and professional. His "sales pitch" for a new door was respectful and thorough. I called Access Garage Door because that's who I normally call to repair my garage door. I was told the spring was discontinued and I would need a new door. I had my doubts so I did a goggle search and found Precision. My schedule is pretty hectic but the agent worked with me. I was able to get a late evening appointment the same day. Mike King was my Technician. Let me tell you, this man is amazing. He had the spring (the one I was told was discontinued) in his truck. He replaced the spring and educated me while he was doing it. He explained what he was doing and told me why he was doing it. I would highly recommend Precision. If I ever have garage door issues Precision is who I'm calling. I'll request Mike King.
